You must first be a member of the Zim US Family Collective to be eligible for future membership in the credit union. Membership in the collective is free and open to all individuals who are interested in and committed to supporting African diaspora community development.
✅ You don’t have to be Zimbabwean.
✅ You just have to care about our collective growth and financial empowerment for all Africans residing in the USA
WHY IT MATTERS

SERVING OUR UNIQUE NEEDS
Mainstream banks have historically underserved African immigrants. Many of us send money back home, fund family businesses, support education abroad, and build dual homes yet we face barriers to credit, lending, and trust.
This credit union will be ours:
✅ Built by us
✅ Governed by us
✅ Serving us
It’s not just a financial institution. It’s a movement.

SUPPORT THE MOVEMENT
& DONATE TODAY
We need your support to raise the $100,000 startup capital required to complete Phase 2 of the federal charter application process.
So far, we’ve raised $30,000+ and every dollar brings us closer to full charter approval.
🌟 Your donation is a direct investment in a more financially empowered African community.
Whether you’re part of the diaspora, a friend of the cause, or simply someone who believes in cooperative economics — your contribution matters.
All donations are collected by the Zim US Family Collective Investment Group, our founding association and a registered nonprofit. Donations are securely handled and designated exclusively for the establishment of the Afro Collective Federal Credit Union.
